I am interested in the design of few words: That which says a lot as briefly as possible. It is a complex exercise to come up with an answer that seems obvious. But which is really not. This project draws from a study of the traditional work system and a new answer has been found within the synthesis: everything is gathered around the work surface, the storage module and structure are integrated to produce a lightweight unit in which the pieces come together to create a protective space for optimal results within the layout itself. The idea was to find an element where its repeated use and sculptural profile would bestow a personality to the program, while aiding with available space. That element is the C shaped base. By doing this we have achieved something indispensable in the office: the architecture has to win the match, the furniture should help create paths, subdivided areas and, above all, place emphasis on the diaphanous nature of space.
